Corporate Privacy Notice

STREAMWORX, LDA, doing business as District Nine, having its corporate seat in Lisbon, Portugal, understands and respects the importance of your privacy.

In this privacy notice, we explain how we use any personal data that we obtain through our website, when you contact us by mail or phone, or when we provide our services to you. We will follow the law when you share personal data with us.

 

A short note on how we handle personal data on behalf of our clients. For our clients we only process data for and on behalf of them, following their written instructions. If we store data, we store in separate silos, and use aggregated data as much as possible.

 

Information you provide to us

When you contact us by mail or phone to ask us about our services, we collect your name, email address or phone number, and any other information you may provide to us.

When you are a client, or work for or with a client of us, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you or your employer provide to us, such as a mobile phone number.

Information we collect

When you use our website, we do not collect any data, also not any analytics data.

Legal basis

For general inquiries, we process data based on our legitimate interest to reply to your request.

For client information, we process data on the basis of performance of our contract with the organization. It is not a contractual or statutory requirement to provide us this information.

 

What (purposes) do we use the data for

For general inquiries, to reply to your information request when you contacted us.


For our ongoing business, we use the information to provide our services and keep in touch with you and others in your organization on an ongoing basis, including for onboarding, support, campaign management, reporting and billing.
 

All the tools we work with are GDPR compliant. And in most cases we do not handle personal data. If we do we only use the data as requested by our clients and this data is processed by GDPR compliant tools.

 

How long and where do we store data
We information related to generally inquires support requests for up to five years.

We store client information for up to seven years, in line with tax requirements.
 

Who we share data with

We don’t sell data, at any time ever. For our services we work with all the leading technology providers in the industry. All those providers are following GDPR regulations.

We have entered into an agreement with all our providers to adequately safeguard your personal data and that they do not use your data for any other purpose not authorized by us.

 

We will also release personal data to the authorities, if we are compelled to do so by law.


Protecting your information

We recognize our responsibility to protect the data you entrust to us. Streamworx uses a variety of techniques and organizational measures to protect your data. Our employees are required to always respect your privacy. When we engage third parties to perform services on our behalf, we protect the confidentiality of your personal data through contractual arrangements.

 

Transfer of your personal data

You should also know that your personal data may be transferred from your home country to third parties. If you are an EEA or UK resident, this could imply that we also transfer data to countries that do not offer an adequate level of protection for your personal data. When we transfer this data, we will do so only when we have put in place appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data.

 

If you are in California (USA) - do not track and do not sell my data (opt-out)

For visitors or clients from California (USA), we do not sell your data that we collect from you or that you actively share with us.

 

For website visitors from California (USA), our website does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals.

 

Your rights

You have the right to request from us access to your personal data that we process. You also have the right to:

- Rectify incorrect personal data or erase it in certain circumstances.
- Restrict or object to the processing of your personal data.
- Receive your data so that you can use it elsewhere (data portability).

 

If we base our processing on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please be aware that a withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data before the date on which you withdrew your consent. Withdrawing of data has to be done directly with the partner that collected the data. We do not have access to the data of our partners.

 

Finally, if we don’t handle our request properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

 

If you wish to exercise any of the above rights, please write us at privacy@districtnine.com. We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe, but at least within 4 weeks.

 

If you are based in an EU Member State, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local EU data protection authority for unresolved complaints.
